Hair-raising happenings in E3

On Halloween evening the streets here in Bow

Were disturbingly orange thanks to pumpkins aglow.

Treaters and tricksters rampaged on the streets

Buoyed up with excitement and too many sweets.

The houses were ghastly. The outfits quite chilling.

Here’s to our neighbours for being so willing…

… to be so creative and for bringing the fun.

And making the night a spook-tacular one!

The MEOTRA area came alive (or should that be came a-dead?!) on Halloween evening this year. There were so many brilliant pumpkins and ghastly decorations on display. We couldn’t limit the prizes to just one house so decided to pick three worthy winners.

The Gold Pumpkin goes to the flat above the Lord Tredegar.

Sip your spirits with the Spirits above the Lord Tredegar.

Our silver pumpkin is shared between the arachnophobic’s nightmare on Grove Road and the bone rattling scene on Lichfield Road.

A web of horror in this basement.

Multi-media macabre on Lichfield.

We also commend the residents of Clinton Road. The spookiest street in the area given the highest concentration of perturbing pumpkins. 🎃🎃🎃

A special shout out to last year’s Spooky House winner who, despite being away for the evening, still got into the (evil) spirit.

The witch of Cavendish Terrace left her calling card.

In case you didn’t get the chance to see area on the night, here’s a selection for your dastardly pleasure.
