Spooky happenings in the streets of MEOTRA

If you had dared to walk the streets of MEOTRA yesterday evening you would have been in for some devilish delights. Perturbing pumpkins, creepy cobwebs and hoards of small, demonic children, sugar-high and demanding MORE SWEETS!

So much care and creativity had gone into the decorations; it brought a smile (and a cackle) to us all.

We particularly liked the riddles leading us to our doom/the house with the blue door on Morgan Street:

But we all agreed that the most frightening visit was to the evil witch on Cavendish Terrace. Smoke. Shrill cries and a performance that wouldn’t have been out of place a few miles West in theatreland. We left a bottle of wine for the worthy winner and then high-tailed it away lest she gobbled us all.

Happy Halloween!
